How we make your money go further...

In 2010/2011, 90% of our income went directly to the communities and projects we support.

Our Executive Director in Kenya, Rene Haller, works on an entirely voluntary basis as does our Director and Co-Founder, Louise Piper.  The UK office, utilises the varied skills of many volunteers working out of Louise's home.  All this ensures that your donations go directly to the communities in Kenya.  

We also seek to reduce our costs by obtaining "donations in kind" from various organisations including:

Bamburi Cement/LaFarge - lease of land for Haller's office in Kenya, our demonstration farm and health and education centre

British Airways - flights and PR advice

Pearlfisher - brand strategy

Salesforce - database software

Rebecca Eifion-Jones Photography - photography for merchandise
