Light A Life Appeal

 

The communities Haller supports have no electricity. Some people use kerosene lamps, but these are expensive, inefficient and cause respiratory problems.

We award solar lanterns to the brightest children from the community schools we support, to enable them to study after dark. Similarly, we award them to farmers who have best implemented the sustainable farming techniques we have taught them. These solar lanterns can last for 8 hours.

For just £10, we can give light to a family to enable them to read after dark.
