Where Haller works, there is little access to healthcare. People have to walk for several kilometres to the nearest hospital, and medicines can be prohibitively expensive. Many rural communities use ‘witch doctors’ and have little knowledge of how to prevent illnesses or when to get treatment.
Our health programme is based on three principles: prevention through education, care and research. We deliver free health workshops and high-quality, affordable healthcare, in conjunction with Kenya’s Ministry of Health.
