Kitty Shropshire

Haller’s Youth Ambassador & Volunteer

Kitty Shropshire is a 19-year-old student at Durham University, where she studies French, Politics and Business. During her year off, she volunteered at Gamata Athak, a community centre in Kathaluwa, Sri Lanka, helping local children improve their spoken English. She also contributed to sustainable initiatives by establishing a home garden that taught students about self-sufficiency using locally available materials. Kitty has been sharing her insights on community projects and climate action in Sri Lanka with Haller. As a youth ambassador, she aims to engage her peers in Haller's mission, encouraging conversations about the environmental and social issues that matter to young people today.
